I was interested in the reference to the difference in the patients that have Calreticulin - there was mention of research papers. i think the name was Dr Trefarian - but i am not sure whether i spelt that correctly. does anyone know the research that is being referred to?
HELLO! I was diagnosed with ET in 2006. On Hydroxyurea since 2009 and fairly low dose. However few very stressful months made my platelets to grow incontrolably and platelets pheresis was performed do to danger of CVA or MI. Recently I found out that I am CALR positive, which does not change anything besides adding to my worries that my children could inherit genetic mutation.
