It was a great day, many thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make it happen. Lovely to see you again Maz and to meet Alisa. Louise did a brilliant talk Violet and I am going to look into improving my diet, been wanting to for ages :-). Oh and my sister has a date from the day :-)! ...My thoughts are with the gentleman who collapsed, I hope he is feeling much better today? X

I agree Chrities is a great hospital. I have ET but have some PV symptoms. The nakd bars are a lovely substitute (but not quite the same for a chocoholic like me:-) ) I will let u know when I get started. Sorry I don't think I got to speak to you on Sat. Good luck if u try the diet! Diana x

Hi Diana I say has you sister got a date with the gentleman that was in the stripy top he was on his own, I remember you and your sister, pretty blind hair ladies at the front of the room when we got into groups, hope it goes well for your sister , I did eat really healthy last year plenty of veg but got bored and gave up, the forum is such a great place to meet others. Hopefully we can all meet up again in a central place for us all

Hi Diana, great to see you as well, and to meet your sister, thank you both for coming along and supporting us. Well, I hope the date goes well, so we can now add matchmaking to what happens at forums :-) I have heard from Michael, who collapsed, and he is now at home and ok, he is just sorry that he missed the rest of the forum as he was looking forward to it. I will look into having a get together soon, maybe not Buxton this time but somewhere else we can get to and hopefully some others. Maz x x x

So glad Manchester so successful. I earlier found the Colchester Forum most helpful. Does anyone with ET have suddenly to cope with numb arm (tingling fingers) happened three times over 24 hours, once when driving and unable to change gear. Medical friends alarmed and say 'go to hospital' but I just wonder if it is just another ET symptom. Should be grateful to know of anyone having similar. Also has coincided with severe headaches.

Hi Tinkerbell your medical friends are right it is best to get it checked out. However I have a tingling in the extremities on occassion and many people do get bad headaches. Good luck and let us know how u go. Diana x

Hi Tinkerbell, My right thumb frequently goes numb but tingly, only rarely my other fingers do this. I just put it down to another of our strange symptoms I also am ET. Met my new haemo a few weeks ago. Hated the fact of change as I was used to my old one (who has now retired) however, new lady is lovely and has put me on a 3 month schedule! Just a shame my Warfarin is messing about and have had to go to that clinic weekly, trust it will soon settle again. E x
