I have had ET for just over a year and take aspirin and 11 Hydroxy per week.
I`m holidaying in Central America and only in areas where the risk is minimal. Can`t get hold of my Heamatologist at the moment to ask the question. I`ve done some research online but would appreciate any input. Thanks everyone

Hi Maz, many thanks for that, much appreciated. I did finally get through to my Haem and they just advised a blood test to see if I was Neutropenic as I have not been tested for 2 months, so off to the Docs now. Regards Sksar.
I have PV and my recent blood tests have shown that I have a high level of potassium could it be the hydroxycarbamide that is causing this.

Is it possible to have both ET and PV as I have symptoms and blood counts associated with both
