Hi, I am due to have a Typhoid vaccination on Thursday and it occurred to me that maybe I should not go ahead with it.

I have had ET for just over a year and take aspirin and 11 Hydroxy per week.

I`m holidaying in Central America and only in areas where the risk is minimal. Can`t get hold of my Heamatologist at the moment to ask the question. I`ve done some research online but would appreciate any input. Thanks everyone

hi sksar, I have checked with Professor Harrison for you and she has said that it is fine to have a typhoid vaccination. Regards, Maz.

Hi Maz, many thanks for that, much appreciated. I did finally get through to my Haem and they just advised a blood test to see if I was Neutropenic as I have not been tested for 2 months, so off to the Docs now. Regards Sksar.
