Hi Tommy, I have PV and do get sharp pains in my legs from time to time. Worth speaking to your medics and getting it checked if really bad. Take care Aime

I have ET, and I do get pains in my joints, I already had bad arthritis but it does seem to have got worse. I mentioned it at my last appointment with the haem but he said there was no connection. It does vary from day to day, it may be that my arthritis is just getting worse and I'm getting older!!

Hi I have ET and sometimes get extreme cramp like pains at the side of my lower legs and bottom of feet usually when in bed, feels like some one is pulling out my insides, feels worse than cramps. not sure what causes this though. wasn't sure if meds may be the cause as anagrelide I believe dilates the veins and I take some at night.
