I hit my head when i was about 8 years old and had to go to hospital. i have had severe migraines ever since. Has the head trauma got anything to do with this and should i see a nuerologist?

I think it is worth getting these checked out. It is likely to be nothing to worry about, and could just be pure coincidence that they started at this time (many children start experiencing them at around this age for the first time) but I think worth addressing. If you visit NMC we can carry out a neurological examination and decide whether we think a referral for a scan is necessary, but most importantly we can help design with you a plan for managing your migraines. The number is 0207 251 3322. All the best.
