Has anyone been giving amitriptyline for vestibular migraine? Did it work?

it worked for me to 9 months then stopped. However I was like a zombie with dementia when taking it

Thanks for replying, Sorry did you mean you stopped using it at 9 months because the drug was not working or it was working but you decided to stop because of the affects?

It just stopped working. Had9 good months then the headaches returned. I then stopped taking it and realised how spaced out I’d been when I became ‘normal’

Oh really, i’ve had this happen with 2 tablets they just stopped working even though they worked for years must have changed the formulas!

or your body just gets used to them

Hi I think that ith amytriptaline my body just gets used to it so have to take more to get same effect. Still on low dose 45mg
