What daily supplement to take to help migraine?

I'm currently taking a daily supplement called Dolovent that was recommended to me by my Migraine Clinic. BUT it contains magnesium OXIDE, when all I have read is that it should contain magnesium CITRATE???

Whilst Googling I came across this with very good reviews - has anyone tried it?

Life Extension Migra-Eeze Standardized Butterbur-Ginger-Riboflavin

No, it does sound good, but I was put off Butterbur by all the adverse information out there: Butterbur can apparently be toxic unless processed in a very particular way. There was only one company that did this but they changed their manufacturing methods and so doctors were no longer recommending it (was what I found out when I looked into it).

But perhaps Life Extension have a processing method or source that overcomes the issue. I think I'd email them and ask.

Thankyou , I didn't know this about Butterbur but a quick Google and there is lots of evidence that it can be toxic, unless as you say, it is manufactured correctly. I'd rather not take the chance so will stick with Dolovent!

Still not actually tried this yet but was recommended by my osteopath. Would be interested to hear from those who've tried it

Migrelief was recommended to me by my Neurologist (available on Amazon). It has helped more than others and I can definitely see a difference since I started taking it. Good luck to you!
