I have been diagnosed with migraine aura. I have terrible pains in my body. Sometimes it's hard for me to move at all. I've Never heard of that. The neurologist told me that I get all the symptoms of migraine but the PAIN is in my body instead of my head. He prescribed Verapamil and the pain did start going away. I've looked this up on the internet and I'm just not sure if this is what I have. I also had an MRI and he says the results of that also suggest Migrain aura. Has anybody here experienced this?

I get both silent and full migraines. I get aura with both, tiredness, aching in my body with both. I feel week and my balance and co-ordination are off in both types of migraine - the only difference is that a silent migraine doesn't have me thinking through a severe headache and feel nauseous and when its at its worse I have really violent gut spasms that result in everything pouring out of both ends simultaneously.

So, the symptoms you describe could be silent migraine.

Have you also had blood tests done to look for possible deficiencies - such as B12, folate, vitamin D. If your symptoms are there all the time then it could be one of these or something else but if they are very tightly time bound silent migraine does seem a more likely explanation.

Yes I've had blood test and I am deficient in B12, and I'm also on D3. Thank you for your response. I appreciate it. 😊
