Ok so I've taken rizatriptan in the past no issues haven't needed it in months but have taken 2 maybe 3 in the last 3 weeks. Well this past 3 weeks I've had itching all over pin prick feeling and burning of the hands and the only thing thats been different which has just dawned on me is that I've taken this medication. Should I be concerned?? It's 11.30pm where I am just now do I go to A&E?? I can sometimes be fine through the day then all. Of a sudden bam the itching starts and it's getting more painful. Surely the medication should be out my system by now and if it was the medication I wouldn't still be itching. Any one else with experience of this?

You need to talk to your GP/Doctor. You can also report here if you are in the UK: yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk/
If you report via above link, nothing is going to happen to you directly, it's just that authorities can take a note of this.
If you see your package leaflet (comes with Rizatriptan), it says 1 in 10 people may experience paraesthesia (tingling).
It also says 1 in 100 people may experience rash, itching.
I am not sure how long it takes to recover once you have stopped taking it, hence consulting your GP is important.
I've been taking rizatriptan melts for yrs never had that. Maybe call the pharmacy and see if they can advise.
Hope you get answers.
