Migraine with numbness in arms and legs

Hi

Has anyone had numbness and weakness in their arms and legs with migraine.

After my hospital thinking I had a stroke i was given an MRI scan and they think my symptoms are migraine related.

I ended coming back early from my holiday abroad because I was worried about tbe symptoms.

Hiya, unfortunately yes. I'm diagnosed with Hemicrania Continua (and Paroxysmal Hemicrania depending on which of my neurologists you speak to) and I get paraesthia throughout the left side of my body.

My sister is diagnosed with Hemiplegic Migraines and has a complete loss of feeling and function on her left side with Migraines.

My Mum had very similar symptoms to both of us and was diagnosed with Arnold Chiari Malformation, and is the only one of us that has an explanation/ reason for her symptoms

Hi, have you been tested for Hughes Syndrome/APS? often other family members past and present have other autoimmune conditions including thyroid, and perhaps a history of migraines, miscarriages or heart attacks and strokes at a young age, come back to me if any of this rings a bell. MaryF

Do you get intense burning smells before a migraine starts my doctor thought i had a brain tumour turns out phantom smells come with migraines i suffer from daily chronic migraines and chronic neck pain my neurologist is currently giving me 31 Botox injections every 3 months I started back last year but them don't seem to be having an effect on my migraines they are meant to reduce the migraine pain

Hi I get this in my arm,hand and face which also affects my tongue sometimes. I don't get this with every migraine every so often.

I have constant pins and needles in my arms and legs and neurologist has suggested I have migraine aura ???
