I have a headache for 3 years start at back of my head to my back of my eyes and it won't go away can anyone help me please
Hi mill7354, is your jaw ok? My headaches don't respond to ANY pain relief and i would wake with horrific eye pain, back of head (just where the skull meets the neck - occipital nerve ) it would travel down my neck and into my temples - horrific migraine level 8-10 on pain nothing touched. After 31/2 yrs solid, daily multiple headaches/migraines, it was found to have severe TMJD (google the symptoms of tmjd).
It's a really long story but I'm getting relief since dec, botox into all my jaw muscles and a thing called "cerezen" .
Have your jaw checked, clenching/grinding can cause it.
Try ice on your temples and the back of your head/neck.
😆
So sorry for your pain. I would suggest that you find an atlas orthogonal chiropractor that doesn't do manual manipulation. One or the causes of my migraines was that my atlas was tilted and twisted. This caused me to have migraines and vertigo for over 1 year straight. The chiropractor will take a series of x-rays of your head and neck to see if it is the cause. If it is the cause, once they reset your atlas (which isn't painful) you will get immediate relief. In the mean time try put an icepack on the back of your head to help with pain relief.
Have you seen your GP if not you need to make an appointment right away so they can find out what's wrong. If it is migranes then they will probably prescribe something for them.
