I have had this headache/migraine for a year now. It started with a concussion dew to an accidental hit to the side of my head during a swim practice. I have tried just about everything, but nothing seems to work.

One Continuous Headache for a Year
Oh gosh 😢 that's horrific 😢 i know how you feel. I was in a near miss and my head was flung so far forward i had severe whiplash in my neck and multiple migraines daily for 18mths.
Found out it caused a problem with my jaw and that was causing all my migraines.
I've had a ndph for nearly 4 years so understand how you feel.
I would suggest, stop taking analgesics as they cause rebound headaches and get referred to a neurologist that specialises in headache so you can get investigated for the cause.
Stay positive
Hi
I'm so sorry to hear that you've had this head pain for so long. You are not alone. I hit my head on the side of my car in august 2013 so hard that I couldn't speak for 3 weeks then had 9 mini strokes over the next few weeks. Once all this resolved I suffered severe persistent daily headaches until September 2016, I now suffer from migraines. No neurologist wants to touch me probably because they have no answers. I've heard that hyperbaric oxygen therapy helps and this is the next thing I will be asking for. Hope this helps.

My daughter has what is called "New Persistent Daily Headache" and it is a migraine that varies in pain degrees each day. There is no cure, we just try to manage with proper diet, sleeping and hydration to keep the pain degree below a 7. We tried medications that gave her horrific side effects so never again. Well wishes wynter191 .
Had neck pain and headaches since falling and banging my head 4 years ago in desperation went down the natural route and tried Kinesiology, not really expecting it to work. It was amazing, pain gone and felt great, just need to go every so often to top it up, think it's worth a try
No remedies at the moment, will go again and try to find out more
