Going for my first botox treatment today. πŸ™πŸ€πŸ€žπŸ€πŸ€žπŸ€πŸ€žπŸ™. I know it usually takes more than one treatment to see results. I hope this is the right thing for me. This year has been miserable!

Great news I really hope it helps you. I’ve been on the waiting list for a year and just found out I have about another year and a half to wait!!!

Purple - well that is awful!

I'm in the US. I had to wait for insurance approval. I suppose they could have said no.

So far, good. I got a migraine Tuesday, that had not subsided, even with my new protocol and taking pain meds the first 24 hours. The appointment was yesterday (Thursday) and I got another aura, in the waiting room, before the Tuesday migraine pain was gone! The pain did not escalate. This morning, it is a dull ache.

I was told it would take 5 days to take full effect. So far, it's good.

I wish you well. I hope you can get it done sooner! πŸ€πŸ€žπŸ€πŸ€žπŸ™

Have been taking Botox for five years now and it has been a lifesaver for me. Had exhausted all other options first before going this route. Instead chronic, daily headaches, mine are limited to a couple a week which is a vast improvement The ones I do get seem to be easily controlled with Imitrex. Wish you the best of luck and truly hope Botox is the answer for you.
