hi.

Has anyone been prescribed Emgality injections on the NHS? If so, was it helpful for chronic migraine?

Many thanks.

No, never tried them but was using sumaptrapin injections, also on verapamil to control cluster headaches, prior to that I was on topiramate, which stopped working, any further questions please ask away 😀

Galcanezumab is the medication name, emgality is a brand of it. Was prescribed for 3 months myself, had some improvement, but not enough to warrant staying on it personally . Also had aimovig injections, and occipital nerve block, all with little effect. Don’t think my body like them at all

It may be different for you

Hi I’ve tried emgality and ajovy and aimovig on the NHS but unfortunately for me they did not help. Still looking for a medication to help. Hope they work for you.
