Hello. I have tried this, but had to go privately for it, because according to the NICE guidance, it has only been ratified for episodic migraine, so chronic sufferers like us would not be allowed it. You may wish to check this, but this is my understanding. Therefore, I paid for it. It was hideously expensive, but the cost did come down as I used it. It's still hundreds per month, but it may have come down a bit more since I used it.

Sadly, it didn't really work for me, either as an acute medication or as a preventative. I gave up the experiment after 6 months.

Currently, I am on the Vyepti infusion and this has really helped. Again, I've gone private. The National Migraine Centre are able to supply it for around £700 every 3 months.

Trouble is, there are currently only 3 centres offering this: Ilford, Rochester and Glasgow. Don't know where you are but I'm in North of England so any way is a bit if a trek.

Sorry I can't help with the NHS bit. Hopefully you may have more luck than me.
