Anyone taking Elavil??? (Amitriptyline)

Hey everyone

I was on Elavil 25mg and gained 40lbs in a year and I ma withdrawing from it which is causing severe withdrawal symptoms (Nausea, upset stomach, headache, faint, dizzy, hot flashes, etc....)

Can anyone help? has anyone lost their weight gain AFTER getting off of Elavil??

Hi there, I have been taking amitriptyline for about 3 months and found I was putting on weight so stopped it, back to not sleeping at night. My eating is going down , I am not hungry all the time like before so hope it willgo down. Did you stop taking the tablets gradually? Hope things go well for you.
