Most people seem to need a Doctor or GP to find them specialist. Postive thinking and mindful mediation on youtube can provide you with relief.

Welcome to this site.

Many people feel they have isolated themselves from Society for one reason or another, you do not really explain what our needs are and the reasons you feel the way you are.

As we get older we begin to lose those people due to many different reasons, we carry on not really noticing why this has happened and then isolation steps in as we become more and more insular.

Have you any real interests or hobbies, there are various clubs and organisations you may be able to join. In this way you will meet like minded people and hopefully make friends and like minded thinkers

You do not mention if you are having treatment for Anxiety or Depression also if you have been seen by your GP. It may be a good idea to discuss your problems, your surgery may be able to assist in various diversions or interests you can try.

Age Concern have various Day Centres you could join ? I am sixty eight and I keep myself busy with various activities. I have found when I retired, had to look for various things to try, I do not know your age, although in my case I have a library of books and I love to research places I have visited in the past, one of my problems A Short Term Memory Disorder, most of my books are picture books and I use my collection to help me remember what I have done in earlier years

Keeping active does work

Welcome to the site. I hope you will stick around long enough to get an idea of the things you can do and to realize all is not lost. Isolating yourself from others seems to be fairly common around here. I think part of the reason is a fear of judgment from other people who are probably worried about you judging them. Pam
