Appetite after depression
Hi phil176uk
I'm pleased you have found your appetite, a definite sign of feeling better. It's very early days and you obviously needed to build yourself up a bit, so try not to worry too much. If you find you are really piling on the pounds, then you may need to pick up on the exercise and slightly reduce your food intake , relax!

Hi phil176uk
It's great to hear you are feeling better! I have heard a number of people say that as they feel better their appetite increases!
However, doctors have said to me, it's not about so how much you eat, but what you eat! If your appetite has increased then maybe it's time to look at the type of food you are eating! It's good to try & get your 5 a day into your diet! It has been known & said planning a menu for the that or the following week & buy what you need to make up the foods in the menu!
You can add some treats having a little of what you like it can help to help you to keep eating a healthier diet knowing that there is part of your meal to look forward to! It can be helpful to also & include snacks to ensure your blood sugar doesn't fall too low as that's when the body craves junk sugary foods!
It really is good to hear you're feeling much better, I hope that you continue to get even better each day!
Take Care. Warm Wishes spykey🤗
