Feeling sick since taking the Sertaline :(

I thought i remained unscathed from it but been feeling quite sicky since taking it. It's horrible. Persevering with it tho x

Persevere with it. The end result is well worth it. You will feel great in a couple of weeks. Try chewing gum or extra strong mints to try and disguise the nausea. Take some walks in the fresh air.

Yes it can have that side effect for some people, also often people feel ambivalent or anxious about taking meds and so that makes them tense and feeling sickly too. Keep going and if after three weeks you see no improvement in side effects or symptoms then go back to your GP as sertraline may not suit you as well as another ad..

i always find it better to take with food as i still get sicky feelings and been on it for years at 200mg. it is a very good med at last which works as i have been on others before that were no where as effective. so bear with it and maybe someone else has a good idea. isnt ginger good? maybe a ginger biscuit covered in yummy chocolate!!!

Thank you for the replies. Deffo gonna persevere with it as i was on it for a month before i fell pregnant and i felt so good. Shame there isnt that one magic pill for everyone huh? Hope you are all well x
