Suspicious looking mole

Hello Everyone! Recently I have been reading on skin cancer and got a little worried about this mole I have. I had it for few years now, but it's different than other moles, it's near my armpit and it's slightly raised (not even a milimeter in height, but there is a noticeable bump). And the shape is slightly irregular, there's also shades of darker brown and very light brown. The mole is cca 4x2mm in size and hasn't changed much or that i could notice over few years, people do often mistake it for a tick though when they see it. Cancer is common in my family, but not a skin cancer as far as i know, my mother had some kind of cancer under her armpit.

I am now 23 years old, I would get the mole checked but the current virus situation doesn't allow for that. Thanks for any feedback!

OK. Here in the UK suspected cancer can still be dealt with. Try to get that lesion inspected as soon as you can.

I have something similar on my back. I emailed in to my GP some close up photos that my wife took. They responded by saying it is benign. A chemist/pharmacy should be able to take a look and advise you.

I had the same on my cheek. My dermatologist diagnosed it as Melanoma cancer and removed it immediately. I would see a dermatologist ASAP.
