Hello, I'm really struggling with all this right now. My question is if the disease has spread to the urethra circumcision cant help with that?

Circumcision cannot of and by itself cure BXO, except where it had only affected the part of the foreskin that was removed.

However, by providing a dry place instead of a damp one, circumcision can discourage BXO from developing further. Also by permanently exposing the area it is easier to apply any ointments that may be needed to cure the problem.

Therefore in any case of BXO it is highly desirable to get circumcised in order to make curative action easier and more effective.
