after months trying to understand what this little white spots on my glands are , and after my gp and some urologist said literally they didn't know , on a prive dermatologist visit in italy they said it was LS. prescribed me steroids and vit E.
Meantime i send this pic to a famous dermatologist in Italy online and he was absolutely sure that it was not LS but an irritative balanits .the spots are kind of bumpy not smooth
So i'm now very confused but i'm following the steroid treatments. In the meantime i got an appotinment next week with dr George kravves in london who seems very prepared about the condition. Hopefully he can get me a definitive diagnosis. in the meanimte i'm getting a little scared of using steroid as my gland is becoming paler
any toughts?

a biopsy where they cut a piece of skin from your glans and look at it under a microscope is the only way to know for sure no matter how good your doctor is.Have you had a biopsy?
HiI've been diagnosed with LS by prof Bunker in London by visual examination. Never had a biopsy. I guess it is doctor's decision to determine if biopsy is needed.
I fully agree. If it's impossible to determine by visual examination then the biopsy is the only definite way.In my case the doctors were in agreement it was a LS.
