Try not to stress out because you are still in the healing phase as blood flow and normal function return after a long period of recovery and inactivity.

Do you know your circumcision style? If it was high and tight, the pubic skin can sometimes be drawn out during erections.

But the skin is elastic and will stretch over time. It can take up to a year or more for your new look to settle down, sometimes longer. Some guys use Bio Oil or other products to massage the skin to help things along after the wound is healed up.

But if you're in pain, things aren't working properly, or they don't improve, you should see your urologist or doctor. Don't suffer in silence.

From everything I've read on the issue and advice received, the time of each man's recovery depends on lots of factors. And that's what we're talking about: recovery = things going back to normal but without the medical issue which made the circumcision necessary. The size issue is just part of it along with sensitivity, sexual function and the look.I'm expecting the first two weeks will be the most crucial period when the "external" healing takes place: I'll need to care for the wound as instructed by the surgeon and be sensible about hygiene, diet, rest, and my level of activities etc.

The second stage will be once the stitches are taken out and the "internal" healing takes place. This can take up to another 4 to 6 weeks.

Everyone is different and the surgeons speak in general terms as age, health, infections, and how closely the patient has been helping his recovery along will all affect the healing period (esp avoiding sexual activity).

Once I get to the 6 week stage and sexual activity is permitted, easy does it will be my motto and desisting if there's discomfort or pain. I'm expecting a gradual return to the new normal in function and size around this time.

Based on reports from other guys here I'm expecting six months after surgery will be another important stage for general recovery and the new look will have settled down in about a year.

Good luck and try not to stress. Healing is a process that we can help along but usually we can't speed it up!
