I have still got a lot stitches.

Is it normal to have a lot left.

Thought they would have come out by now.

It is very normal.

My stitches lasted a month, but that’s only because I took them out myself. They would have lasted 6 weeks if I hadn’t of.

I am 25 days post circ and I still have some stitches. They have dissolved on the underside but I still have some on the top.

Mine only started doing it on day 16. Had a few more out since then.

Yeaaa I just kept having baths and they soon dissolved

did the urologist inform you that they are dissolvable stitches or ones you have to come back to his office to get them removed?

They said dissolving ones.

the ones under the skin will breakdown and get absorbed by the body and the ones sticking out of the wound will get dried up and fall off on their own. You have to expose them to air in order for them to get dried and fall off.

I mean, I think most have dissolved now but I think I can see the outline of one still. Still scabs too although the scab didn’t form all the way along.

I had my circumcision one month ago and I still have stitches (I think it's just one) under my glands. It tickles me, and with an erection, it hurts a little. It seems to be getting under the skin. I hope it breaks because it won't come out easily. A nurse from the hospital where I had my circumcision advised me to go to my health center to remove any remaining stitches. I'm unsure if the nurse can still remove it. It worries me that under the skin it doesn't break. It's so tight....
