hi , I was circumcised 12 days ago. For the past week I have been resting trying to heal fast. I have started using salt and water 2 times a day.
I have had a open hole for the past 7 days, I g have been a&e 2 times now to make sure everything is fine. Both times they have said it’s looking fine, it just needs to heal.
I was wondering if anyone else has had?

Hey brother, I’m right there with you as this is day 12 for me post op as well.
As for the hole you mentioned, I would definitely trust your doctors. It’s good that you went and got it checked out and it sounds like they’re saying you are progressing normally. I know I have been freaking out about how things look as well. Hoping to get some reassurance at my post op visit next week.
Have you found that the salt and water has been helping anything? I have seen that recommendation a few times but I’m scared it’s going to burn. Did it not burn or irritate you at all? I may start doing that.
Keep hanging in there, we’re going to be so happy once we’re fully healed, we just have to get there day by day!
Hi guysJust leave it dry and let it heal ! It takes time - I did mine almost one year ago - I feel so normal now as if I have always been like this - life changer for me as I had issues down there with phimosis
I didn’t wet that area for 2 weeks after ops but used to put layers of the anti bacterial cream to ensure the wound can’t get infected - mine healed v quickly - secret was to leave it dry don’t be tempted to take shower or wash down there and then having high vitamin c doses daily (2g)
Thanks for the advice. For me, that ship has sailed as far as wetting it as I have already been taking showers and letting the water run onto it from my body (no direct contact). Yesterday I soaked in salt water for like 10 minutes. It seems to have really helped as I’m now on day 13 and had several erections that finally didn’t cause pain
