I had zsr circumcision 18 days back, till now just 10% of the ring detached
My doctor stitched the ring and staples to the skin, as I live in an inaccessible area and he's of the opinion that stitches act like an additional layer of protection ensuring that staples and ring don't fall quickly
But now it seems like they won't fall in near future,any tips ?
1) dipping penis in salt water etc., ??
I’m not sure about the stitches and staples as my doc used glue,but definitely soak your penis twice a day in lukewarm salty water for at least 5mins each time.It’s great from a hygiene and healing standpoint,it’ll also help lift scabs,blood blisters,dead skin etc from your glans as everything heals.
Which salt it is bro?? Normal cooking salt would work?
Yep, normal cooking salt in a glass or mug with warm water….It really helps. I did this twice daily until the end of week 6
from how many days after op did you do this? too close to post-op would hurt because still not healed
It was about 7 days after the op,and definitely make sure it’s only lukewarm and not hot water.But if it’s too painful at the moment just give it a bit more time,it’ll all be fine it just takes patience.The doctors never give you all the info on healing times that you need.
I got it done 4 hours ago and the whole thing fucking hurt and its still fucking hurting. how long for the pain to go????
Some tips
Add pinch of epsom salt to lukewarm water then rinse and dip it for relief.
Gently take few drops of coconut/olive/vit. E oil and massage or apply around the incision line to promote healing.
About a week after the snip,I changed the dressings morning and night and soaked my penis each time.. the warm water also helps dissolve the stuck point on the frenulum and dressing,(very helpful!)Dont forget to keep your pubes shaved…stubble and sensitive glans don’t go well together 😖😂
