Circumcision discharge

Since the procedure, every morning I wake up with yellowish discharge with a bit of a smell - some say this is normal but could also be an infection, any advice? Day 8 and it’s still occurring. Thanks

I had whitish/yellowish stuff on my glans for almost a couple of weeks after circumcision. It's probably normal but if at all concerned please see your GP

It’s the smell that’s concerning me. Thought it may have been a smell due to not washing properly down there for 3-4 days but since taking daily baths, the smell still comes back. Going to speak with Dr tomorrow

A whitish/yellowish discharge is expected but it shouldn't smell from my experience.

Is it around the cut line?I had this and it was a infection. Emailed a doctor and 1 quick phone appointment I got some tablets and it went pretty quickly.

In my experience, I found it wasn’t a good idea to put the healing/infection cream on it as I tried before ringing the doc. It clogged up the cut line and I had to pick it out in lumps.

The smell has gone on it’s own during the last few days and there’s about 80% less discharge now so I’m guessing it isn’t infection and is just the healing process. I do however have yellowy gunk over the cut line on the back. Again though some are saying this is normal and actually helps it heal then the yellowy soft scab type thing will fall off. It’s improved last few days so will leave it for now and will contact the docs if the smell or discharge comes back

I had the same issue. The doctor said The yellowish stuff around the wound is normal and is part of the healing process.
