Circumcision

Had to circumcision on 11th of October 2021 in taking antibiotics has increased the healing except for near around the penis head what looks like an abrasion that is not healing as fast as the rest which have i’ve been applying vaseline that seems to clean lessen the feeling but as soon as it dries up that bit does not seem to scab over and gets quite sore, Just don’t know why it’s not all healing at the same time

This is your 15th day post-op. You are on the beginning of the healing process. Like you already know glucose on blood affects the whole healing process, if your hbA1c is not normal yet.

You did not tell what happen to that abrasion like surface, will it stick in to your loose shaft-/foreskin/underwear/gauze. Do you rip off the new skin off every day?

You can ask you doctor, what he/she thinks about if you would test medical honey ointment on to that wound.

Have not told the doctors about abrasion like surface,but maybe i should and it’s no longer sticking to underwear Just a bit concerned that it’s not healing up as fast as the rest but hopefully it will in time 😔
