normal for urinating to feel numb after circumcision?

i'm about 8 days into recovery from circumcision and have consistently had a lack of feeling around the head of my penis when urinating; is this normal?

i know most of the feeling when peeing before circumcision came from the nerves in the foreskin, so i guess it'd make sense to barely feel it now.

it just seems a little odd to me because sometimes when i'm sat on the toilet i will genuinely not be able to tell if i'm actually peeing or not lol

Yeah I have this. Whilst the meatus is one of the most sensitive parts of the body when touched for some reason it's not sensitive when peeing. I've only ever really felt anything from peeing if I've left it for too long and that sensation comes from the base of the penis where the bladder sphincter is (the valve which closes when you pinch your stream off)
