ZSR silicon ring detached from skin without healing within 4 days of operation

My circumcision was done 5 days ago and yesterday i noticed that theZSR silicon ring has detached from the lower skin. My penis has swollen and silicon ring has gone inside. Whether anyone has faced the same issue?

Hi you probably should have it checked with your doctor or at least ask if this is normal. Some ice might help with your swelling and keeping it in an upright position.

Swelling occurs with many surgeries. And it definitely happens when circumcision is done. Some highly specialized doctors put a self adhering compression wrap over the bandage to keep the swelling down.

Don’t worry. Go see your doctor and I’m sure he will put your anxiety to rest.

That's good better to get checked out don't worry too much even if the wound edges have opened a little it will still heal.

How is your circumcision wound now. Mine also got de attached from silicon ring. I was on 9th day post my Circumcision went to Dr for follow up.. He pressed it with so much pressure to reduce swelling unbearable pain it was and in the following night 40% of my wound got de attached from the ring. Now m on 12th day and today first time I bleed post circumcision.

I have got second surgery done yesterday from another urologist. He has put sutures on it

What he did just sutured the opening or he again sutured the complete wound. How is your condition right now

He sutured 90% of the cut including frenulum. For that he again made cut on both sides of skin to get rid of dead cells. The doctor who earlier performed Stapler circumcision on me was very careless about my opened wound. So I had to change the doctor.

Its horrible to expect careless attitude for such important surgery. Better ask for more care which they should practice
