swelling post circumcision

Hi there, I have been circumcised for only 2 days now however i have swelling from the bottom of the back head (where frenulum was) to where incision was made about an inch big that is very dark, is this huge amount of swelling normal?

Had mine done three days ago, my shaft afterwards when flaccid was getting on for twice as thick as it is when hard. Blackness is probably the bruising coming out. You can try a cold compress to help bring it down (pack of frozen peas wrapped in a pillow case or thin t-shirt would work)

Don’t worry about it too much,it’s had a fair bit of trauma and it’s going to take time to settle down.I’m 22 days in and a lot of swelling has gone but under the frenulum and on the bottom left and right of the frenulum the skin is still swollen.It’s just a waiting game mate some guys seem to heal in a couple of months,but the average is 6 month ish until everything settles down,that said some people take up to and over a year.Just keep an eye on it,if you get worried just get in touch with your doctor,trust me it’ll look gruesome for a while as the head hardens up but it’s all a normal part of the process.
