I have a stinging sensation after circumcision

I went for my circumcision 7 days ago and like 3 days ago I've noticed I've had a rather painful stinging sensation on a particular spot, it kinda burns when I touch it, do I have an infection?

How is it now? I wouldn't call it a stinging sensation but I certainly had a tingling feeling but all was fine in the end.

how long until you were fine? I am having the same thing, just had it done 4 hours ago and the pain has not stopped stinging/burning since

Early yet bro. You'll have a couple of unpleasant days/nights but that soon passes. Good luck and enjoy your new toy

thanks for your kind words, I have not seen it under the bandages yet but I seen the tip and the frenulum looked like it was slightly to the side (not completely diagonally down the center like it was prior) is it anything to be worried of? the nurse did not say anything about it

Could just be the bandages holding it that way. Time to take them off, assume you know the best way? Dip your penis in a jar of warm, VERY salty water for 5 minutes first then do that again 2 or 3 times a day. Hope it's all good

I can't imagine the thought of even doing that yet, my nurse told me with the langhe circumcision that I must wait 2 weeks until I take a shower or get it wet.. how long until the stinging goes away? I got the dressing changed a couple of days ago and it hurt just as bad as the circumcision itself did (which was a lot because the local anesthesia did not take full effect for me)
