Hi lads, finally seen the GP about my phimosis and he have me some steroid cream to try stretching for 6-8 weeks before I have my appointment at the hospital. But where do I start, he didn’t go into detail and to be honest I didn’t ask. I’ve got the cream but not put any on, do I do it internally, externally or both and how should I stretch. It’s also a big commitment twice a day in Stretching foreskin.
Thanks in advance for hints and tips.

Hey, I never had cream when I was stretching but I would think that you put the cream over the tightest part of your foreskin. Also make sure you put the cream on after your stretching as well to keep the skin stretched. How tight is your foreskin?
The NHS website is not very useful re phimosis. There is not a lot written on it and what there is mainly covers children. Mentions steroids but does not specifically say how to apply. It doesn’t even mention stretching. So I would not waste time looking there.
But it’s still a bit lacking. It is perhaps slightly biased towards surgery as surgeons tend not to see the successful stretchers! Have another word with your GP - don't let doctors only provide half the information you need!
hey, I am in the same situation as yourself, I have steroid cream which I apply to the phimotic ring [the tightest part. I apply a little while stretching, not to much as it makes things slipper and u cannot get a grip. Every time I have a pee I stretch for 30 seconds using active stretches shown here,, wikihow.fitness/Do-Phimosis... also bought a flesh tunnel [silicone] the same that people place in ears. I am able to place this in and wear briefs [to stop it popping out] and in doing so I can perform passive stretching too. I am a few weeks in and there is some improvement- but I guess that depends upon your starting point. Feel free to message if u have any questions,
I cannot speak from experience, but Welshbloke's comments make sense. Also, demand answers about what to do from your doctor; that is what he/she is for.
