Hello Its me again. Ive learned that the hole in my incision site which has no pain and bleeding is actually just a gap whatsoever, and i am wondering whether erections would expand it and stuff. Nearly all my scabs have fallen off so im worried for nocturnal erections to cause a wound dehiscence in my area.

I had wound dehiscence around most of my scar and only a few stitches worked properly. It was just one of those things. The dehisced bits took 6 - 8 weeks to heal. If you get a bad smell, discharge, pain or heat you should check with the doctor that it’s not infected.

Other than that, the thing that helped me most was bathing the wound in salt water twice a day and using a hair dryer to make sure the open wound was dry. For the bathing, I dissolved 3 teaspoons of salt in water. Make sure the water is not too hot otherwise you’ll burn yourself! I used a cup and put my penis in it for a 5 minutes each time. Then a hairdryer set on cold air to dry the wound.

Yes, im indeed gonna do that. However, i am simply scared whether the gap will expand due to my nocturnal erections which could cause a wound dehiscence, which im fearing for .

My wound gap probably came about because of nighttime erections. The wound will heal but it’ll just take longer.

I wouldn’t stress about it. It’ll heal even if you get erections at night.
