Many months after pictures on the forum were banned, people are still flouting the rules. My guess is that people post without first reading the rules and guidance. Please do that before you post.
The other issue is that members are just replying to posts that are not compliant with forum tules and are not reporting them. Ensuring that the forum operates within the rules is a job for all the members and not just mine. Please play your part.

By the way nobody cares about the rules when their penis is bleeding......
It's illegal to post pics of minors in the uk,that's the reason the ban came in

If your penis is bleeding then you need to get to a hospital and not be asking other guys if they have ever had a bleeding penis! This forum is not for diagnosing penis health problems - that is the domain of doctors - it is a support forum only.
We had so many problems with pics when they were allowed and that policy will not be reversed. Like any forum, if you are not prepared to stick to the rules then relinquish your membership.

We should remember that many of the forum users are not in UK and therefore don’t have access to a GP and NHS healthcare service that is free at the point of delivery. - They may have to pay for doctors appointments or be covered by health insurance.
- They may live in a rural setting many miles from their doctor.
- They may feel embarrassed to talk about their penis issues face to face with their doctor.
For any of these reasons I think it’s entirely reasonable to seek the opinion of others on this forum before committing to see a doctor about their issue or concern.

Their situation does not take away from the fact that this is a support forum and we are not qualified to diagnose. Someone says - I had that and did nothing and I am alright. There you have a great excuse fir the questioner also not to do anything. One had a minor problem and the other had the beginnings of penile cancer!! One of the jobs for any men’s health forum is to convince men to seek professional help. We are notorious for not bothering - it is nothing or I’ll just wait. By the time an emergency comes along it can be too late.
To reiterate, we can never take the place of qualified medical help.
I am not sure what your post has to do with the question of pictures as that has been settled.
10000000000% correct I agree with you
I understand the reasons for banning pictures in this section of Health Unlocked.
I note that people are posting links to pictures of themselves in the Penis Health section.
The moderator of this section comments on these linked images and to my knowledge does not delete them. Does this mean HU are happy with the practice of links to pictures being posted?
At the moment the old rules apply for those. Are they necessary, legal and appropriate. If people abuse these conditions then we may find that links to pics will also not be allowed. If members behave in a sensible way then we will be able to continue with those. If not, or if people still keep trying to post penis pics on the main forum, put penis pics in their profile pic etc then that may change.
In that case this group is absolutelly useles how do you want to people show what is your problem and get their advices if they can´t see pictures and they can´t read medical language?
Total bullshit, if you want to use this forum only as a mental support then rename it !
Plenty of people post about their penis health issues and are supported. We are not a doctor service. If your penis needs to be seen/examined then you should be seeking medical advice from a doctor.
Content on HealthUnlocked does not replace the relationship between you and doctors or other healthcare professionals nor the advice you receive from them.
Never delay seeking advice or dialling emergency services because of something that you have read on HealthUnlocked.
