Irrespective of which method of circumcision has been used, one should abstain from masturbation for at least 4 weeks and from intercourse for 8 weeks, although 8 weeks is better for both.

Having sex too soon can rip open the delicate healing tissues and set back healing significantly.

I have no direct experience of the ZSR (or equivalent) stapler method as it is hardly used by any UK doctors. My best advice is that if there is no sign of the ring and staples coming out after 21 days, to ask your doctor.

There seem to be some problems with the method, but again we naturally hear more of the problems than the successes on boards such as this.

Others from your part of the world, where the stapler seems to mainly be used, may be able to give better advice from firsthand experience.
