And my tip is mad sensitive right now and Iโve been practically walking around naked and taking salt baths, any advice for working with this hypersensitivity?......this forum has helped me a lot and given me a peace of mind at times so any answer is appreciated ๐

Basically, there is little you can do about the swelling which will reduce over time. However, if you have any stitches remaining after 14 days it would be a good idea to get them out as that will reduce swelling as well as generally making you more comfortable and preventing stitch tunnels.
The over sensitivity of your glans is best overcome by fighting your way through some discomfort whilst allowing the glans to come into contact with clothing, your hand, etc as much as possible. That way your brain can learn to 'tune out' this everyday touch the way it does with the rest of your skin.
Okok thanks for the response....honestly just been walking around practically naked with my hands in my pants and only letting it touch my leg at night which doesnโt bother me as much any more....when do you think I should start wearing underwear again?...because I have a follow up appointment in 4 days.
Oh and have any of u guys experienced a burning sensation when u begin to pee sometimes? Not all the time and not even while peeing but just at the beginning when it starts to come out?
Some swelling is caused by the lymph specifically brought to the stitches to dissolve them. Remove the stitches and less lymph is required, hence less swelling.
Today marks day # 15 for me and while I clean my penis very carefully with Q-tips 4 of the stitches came out, they pull away relatively easy. There are some that are still stubborn and wonโt give but I leave those alone because they arenโt โripeโ yet lol. I do agree with what roddy has to say. I think the first 2 weeks are the worse part but after that everything is a lot better. My erections didnโt hurt last night at all. I still sleep naked but I force myself to wear clothes just because I want the gland to get used to the rubbing. Sometimes that turns me on for a reason๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ not sexually or wanting too. I guess it could be the constant rubbing up against it and something new that your penis is going through. Iโve been applying bacitracin twice daily so the stitches get softer and the shaft is lubricate so it doesnโt peel away ๐ but so far so good. This morning I had an erection and I saw that my doc pulled the skin a lot from the bottom up to the frenulum I think he also removed it. Which I donโt mind but dang I never knew I had that much ball sack skin. Stretches like 6 inches long ๐ but hey itโs whatever right now cause itโs still a bit swollen and foreskin is not all the way stretched out. Best of luck sleeping and let it hang there, youโll be ok
thanks man but ya I sleep on my side and the erections donโt bother me near as much as sleeping on my back....but itโs still the first week so thereโs definitely light at the end of the tunnel ๐๐พ
Hey mate Iโm 18 days in now. I rode the storm with the whole sensitivity. Now it has eased off but still got some spots that sensitive but not as bad as it was. Erection are annoying at the start but over time it will get better. Just got to be patient. Iโm struggling not to be able relive myself or no sex for another 3 weeks hahaha. Hope it works it for ya
Ok cool thanks man....ya I had phimosis for almost 10 years and the sensitivity was out of this world for me ๐๐๐๐๐.....but itโs day 6 for me and I can sleep with tight fitting briefs on now
Iโm also able to wear briefs with like little to no pain but should I leave my tip out in the open more or should I keep it covered with the underwear for better healing?
You don't have to use a gauze, if you won't see the benefits of it. I just showed you what I've read and why to do it. I think wrapping will help to move at home and out until the stitches are dissolved. They won't stuck in undies.
