Shud I have time off work?

I'm having circ surgery soon. Shud I ask for time of work. I work in a factory, just packing boxes.

First hand experiences would be valuable.

You definitely do not want to be lifting heavy objects after your surgery. I took a month off work.

Hey Mate,

I didn't suffer a lot of pain after my surgery but its definitely very uncomfortable in the first 2 weeks and the nighttime discomfort is gonna break your sleep up so I agree with Carl33 you are going to need to take some time out.

I'm at week three and it is still painful/uncomfortable to wear underwear.

I hope this helps.

Hi I had the circumcision on Friday afternoon & went into work on Monday after I work in an office but spend a lot of time walking around I found I was okay. Tight briefs & keep him pointing upwards in them helped .

Your surgeon will probably sign you off for at least a week. Im on week 3 of recovery. I work in an office (from home at the minute) and mine still gave me two weeks. Trust me, all you'll want to do is lie down and watch some Netflix with nothing touching your owd fella for at least a couple of weeks.

Whilst you may be able to return to work immediately, you will feel much more comfortable and be able to concentrate better on your job if you take a week off.

There are two main problems with packing: 1) often you have to just stand there and keep going for long periods with no chance of a 'walk around' break and 2) you may have to lift heavy packed boxes. Both can put a strain on your penis.

I work in Aviation and have a lot of jobs in tight places or just moving in general. I started going to work after 2 weeks and its still wasnt the most fun. Im on week 5 and still have some discomfort sometimes, but way less. You should definitely take time off work for at least 2 weeks.
