Peeing after circumcision

Hi all, I'm on day 12 since my circumcision. I'm 54 and it was a shock ! I still have some swelling around the head and skin but so far not much pain other than itching. A couple of questions - I think the head and urethal opening was badly swollen and I was really struggling to push pee out for the first week. I went to urgent care and was given a one week course of antibiotics as the doc said there may be a slight infection (although my urine sample was ckear). I have an added complication of suffering from CPPs. Its becoming slightly easier to pee but I still don't have much sensation when I do pee. Secondly, I like to go for a gentle jog a couple of times a week so wondered when I might be able to go out again. TIA.

Not ideal. I hope you are getting effective help for that.

I take medication but its hit and miss. Its a horrible condition.

Edit. The swelling is going down and I can now see underneath. To my horror I notice my Frenulum has disappeared! I had no idea and expected it to be left intact. No more strumming the Banjo String 😫

I had bad swelling also and my Dr ended up prescribing me prednisone. It seemed the the swelling went faster and the healing time sped up with the meds and Epsom salt. I would pee in all directions and it was hard to even sit down due to pain. It’s all over now but it took a bit.

Thanks, sorry you had problems to. I seem to be peeing sideways ! Things are improving though.

Well I went back to the hospital and the Urologists said I have a slight Stenosis. Great. He said give it two qeek and come back if things haven't improved once the swelling has gone down. All I need is an operation to fix that !
