I am 17 years old and I got circumcised and after 4th day when my bandage dress removed I noticed that it is not so much in shape so,my question is it COMMING back normal shape after wound heal

Hi, I’m also 17 and I’m on day 3 and mine doesn’t look how it did cause it’s very swollen but you just to give it time maybe like 3-4 weeks and it should start looking normal, it’s what I’ve been told by many people.

I was told by my Dr and an independent Dr that it can take 3 months for the Penis to fully recover. Try to speak to your Dr if you can for reassurance but I suspect that they will tell you something similar.

After you remove your bandage especially if it’s the pressure bandage you will notice more swelling than it was when it had the bandage tightly wrapped don’t worry and keep up with all the aftercare. Don’t mess around with it too much and you can place your penis vertically to help the fluid go down. Swelling is different for everyone it doesn’t have a specific time frame. Maintain that you keep it clean and dry. Do not do any sexual desires to it for at least 4-6 weeks possibly longer in the 8-9 weeks at least. It may look ready on the outside but inside you still need to heal.
