Guys does luke warm saline water really help with the swelling...any of you have tried it?

Yes, I have used table salt bath on wound care, but the point is not to help with the swelling itself. It's said to minimize pain on wound care , cause there is similar amount of salt (0,9%) on our body. Theoretically wound care without saline drains fluid on our body and that will cause more pain in wound (Diffusion). In real life there is no big difference. Tap water or saline are both good with wound care.

Applying gentle pressure to your penis with a roll bandage may help with the swelling.

my doc told me to leave it and not to bandage..was bandaged for the first three days..

No the ice pack helps for a short duration and actually I don't think you are supposed to use for lengthy periods

Saline encorages healing. Intermitten icing will help with swelling. 15-20 on; 15-20 off.
