Hi I tried to edit my previous post to add a follow-up photo I couldn't find the option so I made this new post this is how my penis is looking without the use of steroid cream it seems to be healing itself could this still be Lichen sclerosus ?

Yes this new angle strongly suggests Lichen Sclerosus - as in your other post, I would suggest a sexual health doctor or a dermatologist to confirm and commence treatment

May I ask ( and I am not being snooty here ) what are your doctor's credentials ? I have 20 years experience in sexual health with a special interest in genital dermatology and I can tell you that is not candida. Almost every single man I have ever seen with LS has been incorrectly told its "candida " . true candida in males ( plaque like ) only occurs in men with uncontrolled diabetes or on immunsuppressives. It does not occur in localized pale areas like this. You can certainly try to treat with antifungals but I am 100% convinced it will make no difference.

I would agree with you Properdoc I feel most doctors try the antifungal cream first to see if it would resolve the problem my own GP even give me the antifungal cream first to see. some doctors may not have experience of the condition as I think it's not a very Common problem to have. In Bobzxc case it does look very much like lichen sclerosus.

I hope it will heal by itself. It's not easy to say anything about by a picture. If there will be problem of the scarring tight frenulum, there is a procedure called "Frenuloplasty".

Hi Man, yes I'm afraid it does look like lichen sclerosus in the early stages it looks very similar to how mine started. you should go to your GP and get a referral to a dermatologist or possibly a urologist you would need to be on steroid creams.
