Urethra Burns

Has anyone got a burning urethra after circumcision? It sure does burn when I pee and also the urine flows in all directions until the stream gets flowing. I did a UTI test and no kidney or bladder infection. Any suggestions that can help...

Your penis just got the bejeezus slapped out of it. The trauma from a circumcision goes deep and the related swelling is pinching your urethra thus slowing the flow and making it spray all over just like if you pinch a hose. It will improve but may take a while. If it doesn’t stop hurting when you pee in a couple weeks or if you see blood or pus coming out, Then get to the doc for an exam. Sooner if it becomes too bothersome. This was my experience but I am not a doctor.

I’ve read on here about taking a salt bath, will that help with this? I’m wondering if the salt bath will help with skin healing or bonding.....

Hi buckkaroo72 I have the same problem I afraid it's part of the course like freshcut says trauma from circumcision I am putting vasalene on I am sure you no this but when you per dab with toilet paper are you also very sensertive I no I am when was you cut

If your frenulum was removed, the pain might be from trauma suffered in that area. The point of attachment can be very close to the meatus. Meatal stenosis is a very common complication of neonatal circumcisions, and this sounds similar.
