9 days after circumcision

Okay I'm new here but I just got circumcised 9 days ago. It says that the bandage could be removed 2 days after the operation. I did this but it was much to painful to do anything so I bandaged it myself and I keep it bandaged most of the day because it's to painful and sensitive while going to work. I also use vaseline on pretty much all of it so it keeps the bandages from sticking to the stitches. Is this ok?

Hi, I did the same when I was working i bandaged it with non adherent dressing and gauze over that I didn't use any Vaseline I would prefer to keep it dry in between the salt water washes or showering.

I do let it dry out when I get home. And clean it well. I was told ny my dr to use warm soapy water but do it gently to clean it.

Should not really use soap unless it very mild.

I wore tight pants to keep things still and used dressings as described by MrMac.
