Coming off the pill some advice... please read

Peanutbutterplease profile image

I was giving the pill many years ago now to help with my awful heavy periods . It never stopped them but lightened and regulated them . Fast forward maybe 10yrs and of course I am older (early 40s ) and my periods are now irregular missed or very long slow type periods . I am thinking is it best to now stop the pill as it was never intended for "protection reasons and I never used it for that either . Any advice with women who came off the pill ?
