Curcumin for vaginal dryness

I wanted to share my experience in case it helps anyone.

I am 7 years post menopause and thankfully, all my menopausal symptoms have disappeared except vaginal dryness/atrophy.

I recently started taking 500mg/day of bioavailable Curcumin for my a knee ligament injury and overall sore joints , post workout. It greatly resolved the issues, and as a bonus, I noticed that my vaginal dryness has resolved.

Further research confirmed my suspicion that Curcumin is oestrogenic . Incidentally, I have also noticed that my skin is softer and seems denser, and overall I look younger.

However , I have read that oestrogenic compounds may increase the risk of female cancers.

🙂 It’s good to know you’ve had a good response.

🤔I took part in a study group to determine which was the way to absorb Curcumin. In the group..it was apparent that this was better absorbed, possibly more effective…when heated during cooking.

Unfortunately …I don’t like the taste…and never use it in cooking.
