Hot flashes when stressed or anxious 😟

Hi guys, I'm new to this site and wanted to ask a question if possible. Recently I keep having very bad hot flashes as soon as I feel a tiny bit stressed or anxious. I can feel it come on. On Dr Google it says it can sometimes happen in menopause. Did or does anyone experience this? I've been stressed loads of times but never experienced this before so it's odd for me. Thanks ❤️

Yes, I've definitely experienced this. Also hot flushes being worse if I drink alcohol. It helps to keep note of your symptoms I found, as a way to make sense of what's going on and reduce further stress and anxiety, which can be a bit of a vicious cycle.

Yes, I started with hot flushes nearly 10 years ago! I'm on the mirena coil and patches, so not sure whether my periods would have stopped. I'm guessing so now I'm 55. Just trying to come off hrt patches, but hot sweats have already started again as I reduce my dose.
