Hrt and covid

I've just moved and my new doctor is BMS trained - I'm so delighted to talk to a doctor who knows about the menopause! I had been on kliovance which she said was the wrong hrt for me as I'm only 50 and still have the occasional period. So it's merina and patches from now on. She did also say that is best not to take hrt orally as it increased the risk of thrombosis which is also caused by covid. I just wanted to make sure other people were aware of this.
