I got meningococcal sepsis when I was 15 coma 5d they said I made a full recovery but Iv suffered since mood disorders fatigue aggression?

Please if there is anyone out there that’s character changed after being in a come from contracting meningococcal meningitis amd sepsis together and I’m also slightly hard of hearing in one ear. Please please is there others like me I’m 43 years old now I just want peace of mind xxx god bless you all xxx

Hi Maria, It is very common to have ear issues due to the damage the meningitis does. For the character change it is also an after effect due to the brain injury. You might notice that it is when your head gets hot from exertion or hot sun. Be gentle with yourself, we have to live with a slightly changed brain. Best of luck.
