Tb meningitis

Hi everyone! My 1year old daughter also is suffering from TB Meningitis and had undergone vp shunt already... The experience is really frustrating and heartbreaking but it made me and is still making me stronger everyday. God has been very good to us since after the operation, she was immediately transferred to PACU then after 3hours, she’s been transferred to our room already. We have been discharged two weeks ago and just wondering how long will my daughter fully recover from this sickness... I just hope to hear and read positive results from those who had undergone the same illness with my daughter.. And spread hope to those ones who are still worried about a family member who has been suffering the same... Let’s hope and pray for faster recovery of our love ones. God bless!!!

Thinking of you and sending healing prayers to your daughter. It sounds like she is getting very good care. I had viral meningitis, so I can't speak to recovery from BM, but I think there are common experiences of the recovery process, and yet everyone is different. Best of luck.
